Rosemary Andison
Rosemary is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who is passionate about working therapeutically in a way that matches the developmental needs of her clients, often making adaptations for language, social-communication, and cognitive delays in the clinic room. She has fifteen years of experience working therapeutically with clients across the lifespan including many neurodiverse clients.
Rosemary is skilled in the treatment of mental health concerns in children, adolescents, and young adults including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive behaviours, and behavioural disorders. She also has experience working with children and adolescents with developmental trauma and she is in the process of accreditation as a Trauma-Focused CBT clinician. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based practice with therapeutic tools taken from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Systems theory, Narrative Approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rosemary’s work is playful and purposeful, using a thorough assessment process to guide the activities used in session. Rosemary is also goal-oriented, using the goals identified by the child and their family to guide treatment. Rosemary has a wide range of experience having worked in private practice, community services, schools, and hospital settings.
Lynley Yeo
After completing my Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) in 2009 I commenced working for the NSW disability service provider, Ageing, Disability and Homecare. In this role I developed a great appreciation and respect for people living with disabilities and those who support them.
In 2015 I transitioned to a role as a school counsellor at an independent K-12 school where I had the privilege of providing support to children and adolescents, collaborating with school staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for the young people in our care.
I began working in private practice in 2019 where I continued to work with children, adolescents and adults therapeutically.
Throughout my career I have appreciated the valuable role of providing thorough assessment to inform recommendations. I believe determining the underlying causes which contribute to strengths or difficulties in learning, attention, social interaction and behaviour is vital, not only for developing appropriate plans to support, assist and expand the skills of the individual but also to assist them in developing a healthy understanding of themselves.
I am excited to now be offering assessments at Neuroverse Assessments.
