Camp Birrong
Camp Birrong, run through The Gabrielle Centre for Children (GCFC), was established in 2022. It offers a vibrant and supportive camp experience where children can engage in sensory-rich activities designed to foster growth, resilience, and regulation skills. Held in the beautiful Blue Mountains in Katoomba, it offers a 3 night/4 day camp experience for children from 8 years of age.
Tailored to meet each child’s unique needs, the camp features structured activities led by experienced therapists and support staff, alongside opportunities for peer connection and team-building exercises. Each day is crafted to build confidence and independence while allowing children to explore and develop in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Camp Birrong is an enriching experience for children to discover their potential within a community that celebrates their strengths.
