Nina Tuason

Nina graduated with a Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney. Nina has worked as a support worker with Autistic families, a High School French teacher, an ESL teacher and has run her own business. Nina started working at The Gabrielle Centre for Children in 2025.

Nina's Story

Nina is passionate about working closely with families to help children with communication challenges connect, express themselves and thrive.

 

Nina is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia and is committed to ongoing professional development. She has completed additional training including:

 

·      Key Word Sign Workshop – presented by Dr Rebecca Sutherland

·      Structured Synthetic Phonics Training – presented by Sounds- Write

·      Foundation course in Orofacial Myology – presented by The Australian Orofacial Myology Collaboration

·      Using Neurodiversity to Support Autistic children and their families – presented by Reframing Autism
