
Tricia Finkbeiner
Tricia graduated from East Carolina University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings in both the USA and Australia. She joined the Gabrielle centre in 2022.
Tricia's Story
Tricia has been an OT for 27 years and has worked in paediatrics for the majority of that time. She is a mum to two teenagers. She spends her free time riding her bike, running and swimming as well as driving her kids to various activities.
Tricia has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, schools, supporting vulnerable families, and hospital settings including NICU and general paediatrics. She values the neurodiversity of her clientele and aims to take a family centred approach to therapy. She strives to help all clients reach their full potential across all environments including, home, school and the community. Tricia has a strong background in oral motor therapy and has worked in extensively in this area.
Tricia seeks out new knowledge and has attended many professional development opportunities. She has provided in services for her colleagues and parents at various schools. Some of the training she has completed over the years includes:
