Speech Therapy

Assessing and treating children with communication, learning and feeding difficulties.

Our Speech Pathologists at the Gabrielle Centre for Children are experienced in assessing and treating children with communication, learning and feeding difficulties.  Some children may present with difficulties in one or more of the following areas, Speech/articulation delays, Oral Motor strength and coordination, Verbal Dyspraxia, Stuttering, Receptive and Expressive Language difficulties, Auditory Processing Disorders, Learning Difficulties, Literacy, Voice Disorders and Feeding Difficulties.

We work with families and children with a range of diagnoses including:

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Fragile X Syndrome

  • Prader-Willi Syndrome

  • Down syndrome

  • Microcephaly

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

Our Speech Pathologists work in conjunction with our Psychologists and Occupational Therapists to conduct diagnostic assessments for Developmental Developmental Delay and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
